Alexander Nixon has had the pleasure of acting with many varied companies and groups in and around the Cheltenham area - ranging from the Royal Shakespeare Company and their Open Stages Showcase, to FinalFilm and their 80s inspired action flick currently live on Kickstarter.
Alexander Nixon has also done: acting work in "Myth Hunters" Documentaries for BBC History, voice over work for Fubuloo Ltd and RealReads, extra work for Warner Bros. and Lucasfilm, and has also trained extensively in stage combat whilst working with the Royal Shakespeare Company and Pate's Grammar School.
Born in a small town north of London, Alexander has always dreamed of achieving great things. Moving to Gloucestershire aged 11, he was awarded an academic scholarship to King's School, Gloucester, where he first fell in love with acting and the stage.
Aged 15, Alexander moved to Pate's Grammar School, Cheltenham; a prestigious school that aimed to place students into Oxbridge and Russell Group universities. Unsure of his career path, Alexander studied a variety of subjects at A level, before deciding to leave Pate's to pursue his love of acting at SGS College, Stroud.
At SGS College Alexander Nixon studied Performing and Production Arts under Alan Mandel and Helen Wingrave. He achieved a distinction in his UAL Diploma and also received the UAL Extended Diploma in Performing and Production Arts.
In his spare time Alexander is a writer, model, recreational drone pilot and a budding director. He has a short film he has written and directed currently in pre-production.
